How Candy Canes are made…

Two things:

1. How much must those employees hate the smell of candy canes by the time Christmas rolls around

2. My secret dream job would be on the design end of those automated manufacturing processes. Challenges like “How do we turn this 100lb blob into a few thousand candy canes w/out people” would be fun to tackle. You know some guy had an awesome ‘holy shit’ moment when he figured out they could package the candy stick and then bend it.
