Heh - Physicist Richard Feynman explains how a train stays on the tracks. Hint: it’s not the weight or the flanges.

Another interesting thing about trains… they have to slow down in corners, not because they’ll fall off to the outside. but rather because the train could pull itself straight across the inside of the tracks… (via jkrmr:)
